Custom Ice Packs Built Around Your Product Brief
Develop custom ice packs with a company logo, custom shape or size, materials, gel, printing and packaging defined in one brief. Cryozin supports brands and distributors from specification review through sampling and quality-controlled production.

What can be customized?
A useful custom brief separates functional requirements from visual preferences. The six areas below determine feasibility, sample scope, tooling and quotation.
Format and dimensions
Rectangular packs, contour shapes, multi-chamber layouts, masks, wearable wraps and project-specific dimensions.
Thermal performance
Cold-only or hot-and-cold use, flexibility after cooling, target use duration and applicable heating instructions.
Outer construction
Film, textile, fabric sleeve, strap, edge finish and contact surface selected for the approved application.
Gel or thermal core
Viscosity, feel, color and formulation direction reviewed against temperature range and product construction.
Brand presentation
Color matching, logo application, screen or machine printing, labels and instruction content.
Retail and shipping pack
Polybag, carton, insert, barcode, case pack, carton marks and project-specific export preparation.

Move from idea to a quote that can be compared
Price alone is not a complete specification. A reliable quotation should make the proposed construction, included packaging, sample assumptions and order basis visible.
- Intended use and user-contact conditions
- Target size, shape and fill weight
- Cold-only or dual-temperature requirement
- Order quantity, launch market and delivery plan
- Artwork, packaging and labeling responsibilities
- Required documents and validation plan
If you only have a sketch or benchmark sample, send it with the target market and quantity. We will identify the missing decisions before sampling.
Five stages from brief to repeat production
Each stage creates an approval point, helping avoid silent changes between the first sample and the production order.
Brief review
Use, dimensions, materials, quantity, market and timeline.
Technical proposal
Construction, process route, tooling and document scope.
Sample approval
Physical sample and artwork reviewed against agreed criteria.
Production control
Materials, filling, sealing, performance and packaging checks.
Repeat order
Approved specification and change control guide future runs.
Decisions that affect cost, tooling and lead time
| Decision area | Typical inputs | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Construction | Shape, seams, chambers, straps, sleeve | Determines manufacturing route and tooling. |
| Thermal core | Gel type, viscosity, fill weight, temperature use | Affects feel, flexibility and performance target. |
| Branding | Logo size, colors, print method, artwork format | Defines sampling, registration and print setup. |
| Packaging | Unit pack, instructions, carton, barcode, case pack | Changes unit cost, compliance copy and shipping volume. |
| Validation | Inspection points, tests, documents, acceptance criteria | Aligns the sample and production release standard. |
Seven decisions that shape a custom ice pack
A useful custom quotation starts with product decisions, not only a logo file. The choices below affect tooling, sample work, unit cost, packaging, testing and how consistently the product can be repeated.
Use case and contact area
Explain who will use the pack, where it sits on the body or product, and whether it is handheld, worn, inserted into a wrap or packed into a kit. This determines geometry, comfort layers and accessory needs.
Temperature pathway
State whether the pack is for chilled, frozen, warmed or dual-temperature use. Preparation method and target flexibility should be confirmed during sampling instead of assumed from a generic gel description.
Outer material
PVC, TPU, nylon-laminated constructions and textile-supported formats provide different appearance, hand feel, seam behavior and printing options. Review the material selection guide →
Fill and chamber layout
Fill type, quantity, viscosity and chamber distribution influence conformity and migration. A long body wrap may need a different chamber strategy from a compact beauty or first-aid pack.
Brand application
Logo dimensions, print method, background color and readable area should be approved together. Vector artwork reduces avoidable prepress work. See the logo file checklist →
Packaging system
Choose between bulk packing, labels, pouches, inserts, retail cartons or a complete kit. Barcode placement, warnings and case-pack quantities should be decided before final artwork. Read the packaging guide →
Acceptance criteria
Record dimensions, fill tolerance, appearance, seal checks, print position, accessories and packaging. A signed sample is most useful when it is paired with a written specification.
What to send for a faster feasibility review
A clear brief makes supplier responses easier to compare and reduces redesign after sampling. If some fields are unknown, identify them as open decisions instead of allowing each supplier to make a different assumption.
| Brief field | Useful information | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Product purpose | Application, user, body area or kit role | Guides format, comfort and instruction needs. |
| Dimensions | Length, width, thickness, shape and chamber sketch | Supports feasibility, tooling and carton estimates. |
| Thermal target | Cooling or heating method, duration priority and flexibility | Defines what should be evaluated on samples. |
| Materials | Preferred outer, fill, fabric, closures and accessories | Avoids quotations based on unlike constructions. |
| Brand and pack | Logo, colors, retail channel, labels, inserts and carton | Reveals print, artwork and compliance work early. |
| Commercial plan | Trial quantity, annual estimate, market and launch date | Helps select a realistic private-label or OEM route. |
| Approval plan | Tests, documentation, inspection and golden sample | Creates a common basis for production release. |

Custom ice pack FAQ
What information is needed to quote a custom ice pack?
Send the intended use, dimensions or target body area, expected order quantity, destination market, preferred materials, printing, packaging and timeline. If a detail is undecided, Cryozin can identify the questions that must be resolved before sampling.
Can Cryozin adapt an existing product instead of creating a new mold?
Yes. Starting from a suitable catalog format can reduce development work. The team can review changes to color, print, sleeve, strap, packaging and gel performance before determining whether new tooling is necessary.
How long does custom sampling take?
Timing depends on design complexity, materials, artwork and tooling. A realistic sample plan is confirmed after the specification review; production timing is quoted after the approved sample and commercial terms are clear.
Are certificates available for custom projects?
Available management-system certificates, material information and product-specific test documents are reviewed against the selected construction and destination market. Request the current document set for the exact project rather than assuming one document covers every design.
Can you support private-label retail packaging?
Yes. Depending on the project, options can include printed packs, labels, instruction sheets, retail cartons, inner packs and shipping cartons. Artwork, legal copy and market requirements remain subject to buyer approval and production review.
