Use a Shaped Bag with a Direct Fill Opening
This ankle format combines a shaped refillable bag, overlapping fastening areas and a large screw-cap opening on the side. Ice is added through the opening rather than supplied as a sealed gel filling. The cap, surrounding bag and closure arrangement need to be specified together.
Define the Selected Configuration
| Fill route | Direct opening for loading and emptying the selected cold medium. |
|---|---|
| Design reference | Approx. 28 x 22 cm (unfilled bag body height x maximum width, excluding cap and straps). Proposed custom-design starting point only; not a measured stock size or an approved fit. Final dimensions require sample approval. |
| Closure | Large side screw cap with an attached tether. |
| Carrier shape | Ankle-shaped body with overlapping fastening areas. |
| Sizing | Agree foot/ankle coverage, opening position and adjustment range. |
| Thermal use | Cold and warm configurations; refrigerator/freezer preparation is specified for the selected bag, filling medium and cap assembly. |
| Loading amount | Specify the filling medium and loading quantity for the selected bag and cap assembly. Capacity and permitted preparation are confirmed for the approved design; no fixed gel fill weight is specified. |
| Supply unit | One pair (two complete refillable ankle bags) per supply set. |
| MOQ | 500 paired sets per product model. Confirm the selected configuration and packaging in the quotation. |
Inspect the Cap Interface and Ankle Fold
Review the bag with its intended loading amount and inspect the areas that bend around the ankle. Check thread engagement, tether access, filling clearance and the route for emptying and drying. The loading quantity and closure requirements belong in the approved specification.
- Ankle range, coverage and overlap at each fastening area.
- Cap diameter, thread engagement and tether attachment.
- Bag seams and the interface around the fill opening.
- Permitted filling, emptying, drying and packing instructions.
Develop the OEM Specification
Send a reference, approximate dimensions, target market and packing brief. Cryozin can assist with the outline drawing, structural review and sampling. Materials, gel construction, colors, printing and fastenings are assessed against the selected design. New tooling and packaging costs are quoted separately as applicable.
Approve dimensions, materials, color, logo and packaging before production, and retain the agreed sample for comparison. Inspection photos, videos and reports can be discussed for the order; any temperature, duration or market-specific claim needs evidence for the selected finished configuration.
Compare the ankle & foot ice packs range, review the OEM and private-label process, or discuss quality checkpoints.
Product FAQs
Is this a prefilled gel ankle pack?
No. The selected format has a screw-cap fill opening and is loaded before use. Prefilled gel ankle wraps are separate catalog structures.
Is the cap removable?
The screw cap opens for filling and is shown attached by a tether. Confirm the thread, seal and tether construction on the sample.
Can it be used with hot water?
Cold and warm configurations are available. Confirm the permitted warming method, filling medium and preparation instructions for the selected bag and cap assembly; no water temperature or heating procedure is specified here.
What needs to be checked before an OEM order?
The proposed 28 x 22 cm unfilled body outline is a custom-design starting point, not a measured stock size. Approve the loaded shape, fastening positions, cap interface, leak-check conditions and preparation instructions. Specify the filling medium, loading quantity, retail unit and any replacement-cap requirements; no fixed capacity is claimed.
What are the MOQ and sample lead time?
MOQ is 500 paired sets per product model, with two complete refillable ankle bags per set. Confirm the selected configuration and packaging in the quotation. Existing-model samples normally take 3–7 business days; a newly tooled version requires its own development schedule. Regular production takes 18–25 business days, while custom projects may require longer.
