Keep the Fill Opening Separate from the Front Fastening
The contoured bag forms a broad collar at the neck base and carries a large screw-cap fill opening on the side. The front wings close the shaped body around the selected neck range. Unlike a plain round ice bag, this format uses an integrated collar pattern.
Define the Selected Configuration
| Body | Contoured neck bag with a flared lower edge. |
|---|---|
| Design reference | Approx. 50 x 18 cm (unfilled laid-flat neck-bag body length x maximum height, excluding cap). Proposed custom-design starting point only; not a measured stock size or an approved fit. Final dimensions require sample approval. |
| Opening | Large side screw-cap opening with tether. |
| Fixing | Front wings close the shaped collar. |
| Order brief | Agree neck range, coverage, loading amount and packing unit. |
| Thermal use | Cold and warm configurations; refrigerator/freezer preparation is specified for the selected bag, filling medium and cap assembly. |
| Loading amount | Specify the filling medium and loading quantity for the selected bag and cap assembly. Capacity and permitted preparation are confirmed for the approved design; no fixed gel fill weight is specified. |
| Supply unit | One pair (two complete refillable neck bags) per supply set. |
| MOQ | 500 paired sets per product model. Confirm the selected configuration and packaging in the quotation. |
Review Filling Access and the Formed Collar
Check the bag empty and at the agreed loading amount. Confirm that the cap can be opened and closed in the intended preparation position, then inspect the front overlap and lower edge on a fitting form. Record emptying and drying steps for the selected construction.
- Collar height, lower flare and front overlap.
- Cap position, closure engagement and tether movement.
- Loaded distribution and access to the opening.
- Bag seams, drying route and preparation label.
Develop the OEM Specification
Send a reference, approximate dimensions, target market and packing brief. Cryozin can assist with the outline drawing, structural review and sampling. Materials, gel construction, colors, printing and fastenings are assessed against the selected design. New tooling and packaging costs are quoted separately as applicable.
Approve dimensions, materials, color, logo and packaging before production, and retain the agreed sample for comparison. Inspection photos, videos and reports can be discussed for the order; any temperature, duration or market-specific claim needs evidence for the selected finished configuration.
Compare the joint ice packs & gel wraps range, review the OEM and private-label process, or discuss quality checkpoints.
Product FAQs
How does this differ from a gel neck collar?
This bag has a fill opening and is loaded before use. A prefilled solid-gel collar has a different filling and preparation route.
Is an ordinary round ice bag fitted inside?
The selected reference is a directly refillable shaped neck bag. Any separate-bag carrier arrangement would be a different configuration.
Can the cap position be changed?
A different fill position can be assessed from the required pattern and use brief. The opening, seam layout and access must be reviewed together.
What filling and temperature instructions apply?
Specify the permitted medium, loading amount, contact layer and preparation instructions for the final bag and cap assembly. The proposed 50 x 18 cm unfilled laid-flat body is a custom-design starting point, not a measured stock size or a capacity rating. No fixed holding temperature or duration is stated.
What are the MOQ and sample lead time?
MOQ is 500 paired sets per product model, with two complete refillable neck bags per set. Confirm the selected configuration and packaging in the quotation. Existing-model samples normally take 3–7 business days; a newly tooled version requires its own development schedule. Regular production takes 18–25 business days, while custom projects may require longer.
